The Company:
Shake Up is an Indianapolis-based RTD (ready-to-drink) cocktail brand known for their full flavor, all natural cocktails made with real ingredients, real flavor, and real fun. Famous for the signature Lemon Shake Up canned cocktails launched in 2022, Shake Up soon became THE drink of midwest fairs and festivals as distribution expanded to 3 states and sales exceeded 20,000 cases.

Role Summary:
The Shake Up Regional Brand Ambassador Manager is a seasonal role that is a blend of sales and field marketing:

• Sales, Field Marketing, Personnel Management
• Sales/Customer Service experience required
• 15-25 hours per week - including evenings and weekends

• Fort Wayne
• South Bend
• Northwest IN
  

Reports to: COO

Key Responsibilities: 15-25 hours per week

Account Visits/Relationship Building

• 8-10 hrs per week of retail and bar/restaurant account visits per region

• Build relationships with new prospective accounts, secure new shelf and menu placements

• Deepen relationships with existing accounts (weekly route defined by Sales Manager)

• Merchandise existing inventory during each visit

• Shelf Stocking: Ensure all shelves and displays are fully stocked, rotated, faced, and priced according to Shake Up Retail standard. Provide photo documentation of completed tasks

• Display Replenishment: Ensure all displays are fully stocked, properly merchandised with POS and visible pricing.

• Inventory: Conduct thorough inventory checks, including back stock, and document quantities and SKUs

• Pricing Verification: Document pricing of each SKU.

• Report account updates to Sales Manager weekly

• Schedule samplings and activations at accounts based on brand ambassador schedule

Field Marketing

• 4 hrs per week of Retail Samplings

  • Friday Evening/Saturday Afternoon 2 hour samplings at liquor stores/grocery

• 4 hrs per week of On-Premise Activations 

  • Evening events at bars/restaurants/venues

  • Saturday Beer Fests

  • Neighborhood Festivals

• 4 hrs per week staffing Farmer's Markets
  • Saturday morning booth/tent setup
  • Selling product and sampling where possible
    
    

• Samplings/Activations are scheduled directly by the Regional Brand Ambassador Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A strong passion for the adult beverage industry, particularly spirits and cocktails.
• Highly motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Enthusiastic and professional brand ambassador with a keen attention to detail.

Key Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Current employee server’s permit (or willingness to apply).
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or the adult beverage industry.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation:

• $20/hr base - Max 25 hours per week
• Mileage Reimbursement for account visits and any activations more than 25 miles from home address
• Tips that accrue from product sales events
• Sales Bonus for Retail Samplings

• • $10 bonus will be paid out when a minimum of 2 cases (12 units) of Shake Up are sold at the assigned location.

  • An additional $10 bonus will be paid for each additional case sold (6 units).

  • Variety Packs count as 2 units

• Regional Brand Ambassador Manager is a contracted/1099 employee
